I really amazed when I was working on the BOM(Bill of Materials) of our new product. I saw some suppliers(Digikey, Mouser) offering capacitors of value more than 1 Farad. Yes its more than 1 Farad.This large value is generally used as a battery for Real Time Clock chips etc.
Before that I thought Farad is very big value and one can not have a capacitor of 1 Farad. So if any one ask u that if there any capcitor possible of one Farad say YES !BTW u can take a look at http://www.digi-key.com/ (U'll have to search for). Not expensive though about $2 and yes size is also very small like a coin battery on your mother boards.
