Before i go...

Before i go... here is one excerpt from the documentary I saw yesterday....
The title was "The power of nightmares" and the documentary was from BBC..

" The problem of the society is... that they believe in nothing.. and people who believe in nothing are scared of the people who believe in something... So, people who believe in nothing they label people with Fundamentalists and Fanatic... It is not the people who believe in something that are isolated ... but the fact is we have closed our eyes and our conscience are not clear".

I really loved this quote and I hope you would be able to understand it... ;) or you know whome to contact to understand... haaa haaa haa... ME....

Assalaam-O-Alaikum...

Hmm... i'll be back...

Well..., nope i am not trying to be Terminator while saying that i'll be back... Aray I am chotaa saa piyaraaa saa bachaa... Khair... Tou aisaa hay keh aik bhainsaa hay jou bilkul aaap keh jaisa hay...

Looks like my tongue is getting more fluent now.... so, before i say something to offend you guys... Let me finish what i was about to say.... Well, i'll be insha-Allah back after 11 days from now.. Hm... taking a tablighi (Dawah) trip to Oslo... SO, wish me luck and NUT you know in what.... ;)

Okkkz... here is one nasheeed i read....

The Veil(From the Sound Vision documentary Hijab:

An Act of Faith)They say, "Oh, poor girl, you're so beautiful you know
It's a shame that you cover up your beauty so."
She just smiles and graciously responds reassuringly,"
This beauty that I have is just one simple part of me.
This body that I have, no stranger has the right to see.
These long clothes, this shawl I wear, ensure my modesty.
Faith is more essential than fashion, wouldn't you agree?"
This hijab,
is the mark of piety,
Is an act of faith, a symbol,
For all the world to see.
A simple cloth, to protect her dignity.
So lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity.
They tell her, "Girl, don't you know this is the West and you are free?
You don't need to be oppressed, ashamed of your femininity."
She just shakes her head and she speaks so assuredly,"
See the bill-boards and the magazines that line the check-out isles,
with their phony painted faces and their air-brushed smiles?
Well their sheer clothes and low cut gowns they are really not for me.
You call it freedom, I call it anarchy."
This hijab, is the mark of piety,
Is an act of faith, a symbol,
For all the world to see.
A simple cloth, to protect her dignity.
So lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity.
Lift the veil from your heart and seek the heart of purity.

(An Excerpt taken from Memories of a Full time blogger....)

Hmmm....,
The sky is dark and full of glittering stars... wind is blowing slowly and body is feeling a bit chilled... I am alone on the roof with me and my old punching bag.... I guess he is getting tired me in the same amount as i am with him. Well, these were the pre-requisites used to be for me to write a Masalay daar blog.... But i guess the days are gone... no roof... no stars... no dark sky... only thing i see now is the redish sky... yep... people this is Sweden... six hours long day and in the end 18 hours of redish night....

Yep..., but one thing hasn't change much... yeah... i thought you guys will guess that.... my love for my love... yeah.... for my ride... oooh plllleaaaase.... you people are getting so... lazy now-a-days... man... my bike...

Well...., feels like i m having good relationship with the soil now-a-days in the winter .... cuz, after every turn i nearly fall to the ground... yeah... you can take it as my love to the earth....

I see the blog now.... no love related issues... no pangaa... only changaa changaa... Man... this blog has started to suck now.... cricket.... uuhhh.... i m gonna puke....

Hay hay brothers don't get angry it is the fredom of speech you know.... Well..., as you guys can guess by now... I m still in the state of Intizaar... but in my sense... I heard some people getting NUT..... yeah... yeah... it is the last stage of Intizaaar.... or in some cases it is the stage when Intizaaar ends.. You know what I mean....

Aray haaan, you can ask Imm bhai.... his Intizaaar days are gone and Baizaaar days have started.... But guys.... no matter what i say you know... we would love to be Baizaaar... what do you think Ustaaad....

Well..., although I thought that I would write something meaningful but i guess... this is not my field of expertise.....

So, don't you guys worry i'll be back with new blog with Phata Purana Andaaz.....

(P.S. Imm... don't complain that my title doesn't match with my blog.... Or... Nothing yaaar, I can't do anything to you....)

Indian Parliament will discuss the Gangulays issue. It is really interesting and showing the significance of cricket in subcontinent. At the other hand it is also very disappointed for Indian cricket team fans that Indian cricket team facing such inter cricket political crises.

UIT Preview

Assalam’aalikum!!!

Here a new contributor with first post. I decided to write about whats going on in UIT in my first post.

Well, I don’t know whether it will be surprise or not for you people but it is fact that now UIT is colored from outside :) the same building, continues construction work … I think only God knows when it will complete.

Some new department already opened without HODs, like Industrial Electronics and Tele Communication. I don’t know much about other departments but CS lost some of the good teachers, like Khalid Khan switched to PAF-KIET and Mr. Ayub Latif went to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

At students’ side, UIT CS department is doing well. Formed UIT Computer Society, going to register with ACM (Association of Computer Machinery), in process of opening UITCS Dot Net Group and hopping next year with full of activity.

Well, at 25th and 26th January UIT is also organizing an exhibition named TechnoExtraGanzava with IEEE conference TechnoInformative. Hope you all will be there.

So, this all was my first post for a preview of UIT. I will be waiting for your comments.

Tribulation will befall

'Alî ibn Abi Talib (RA) said, "The Prophet (SAW) said: 'If my Ummah bears fifteen traits, tribulation will befall it.' Someone asked, 'What are they, O Messenger of Allâh?' He said, 'When any gain is shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor; when a trust becomes a means of making a profit; when paying Zakat becomes a burden; when a man obeys his wife and disobeys his mother; and treats his friend kindly whilst shunning his father; when voices are raised in the mosques; when the leader of a people is the worst of them; when people treat a man with respect because they fear some evil he may do; when much wine is drunk; when men wear silk; when female singers and musical instruments become popular; when the last ones of this Ummah curse the first ones - then let them expect a red wind, or the earth to swallow them, or to be transformed into animals.'" (at-Tirmidhî)

Abû Hurayrah (RA)said, The Prophet (SAW) said, "The Hour will not come until the following events have come to pass: two large groups will fight the another, and there will be many casualties; they will both be following the same religious teaching. Nearly thirty Dajjals will appear, each of them falsely claiming to be a Messenger from Allâh. Knowledge will disappear, earthquakes will increase, time will pass quickly, afflictions will appear, and Harj (ie killing) will increase. Wealth will increase, so that a wealthy man will worry lest no-one accept his Zakat, and when he offers it to anyone, that person will say, I am not in need of it. People will compete in constructing high buildings. When a man passes by someones grave, he will say, Would that I were in his place! The sun will rise from the west; when it rises and the people see it, they will believe, but, "No good will it do to a soul to believe in them then, if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith..." (Al-Anam 6:158) The Hour will come suddenly: when a man has milked his she-camel and taken away the milk, but he will not have time to drink it; before a man repairing a tank for his livestock will be able to put water in it for his animals; and before a man who has raised a morsel of food to his mouth will be able to eat it." (al-Bukhârî)

Salam Alaikum friends!
I know most of you already used google earth but may be some of u still unaware of this fascinating service started by google.
Here is the image of UIT building.
The security/privacy of third world countries like us is a very big question. Just imagine if this service is provided to the ordinary user what might "they" have?

A new picture of Sweden.....(For me...)

Well, I guess Allah has listened to my prayers. I hope you guys remember from my last blog that I talked about three things that can happen. Well, yep I found a brother from Afghnistan named Malik who has been living over here for 18 years now( Well, I can't say that he is disco soofi like AayDee but it was fun talking to him). I had a very good time and now-a-days hanging around with him.
Well, the last day I was talking to him and would tell you the central idea of the facts I found out about Sweden.

Well, over here labour is so expensive and the taxes are so much that companies are opening there offices offshore. So, in the result there are lesser jobs even for Swedes. Now, If a person doesn't have a job the government would pay them some amount. Due to shortage of jobs the amount a person who has a job gets is lesser than what another person who doesn't have any job gets from the government. So, you see after experiencing this most of the people don't wanna work and get the amount from the government and have fun.

Most of the people in Sweden are not interested in studies for two reasons:

1) They don't need studies as we do to earn good money. They can always go for some technical work and earn more.
2) Even if they do go for studies they wouldn't be able to find that level of job , so that , they can earn more if they have got the degree. And why is that? Well, again just because major companies have got offshore offices now.

So, what I was thinking about was.......
What will Swedish government will do lets say after 10 to 15 years. Would they still be feeding there people for doing nothing.....

Or the conditions over here will become same as other asian countries......

Missing my place....

It is about half past two and I am inside my room. Nearly dozing off but don't wanna sleep. Wanna have fun. Well, hold your wild horses of thoughts man. I just wanna bike some place where there are many people and I just can observe whats happening around me. I would really like to feel alone among all those people. Hey AayDee I guess you remember while I drag you with me to the Sea view (beach in Karachi, Pakistan).
Yeah, I know it is quite boring but what the hell, I like it that way my friends. But you know whats the problem over here in Sweden which I am facing??????
Guess??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Well, over here I don't have that kind of gathering... Yeah, there are many Pakistanis over here. Nearly about 50 in my session only (leaving aside the seniors) but can't just be open with them. It takes time before you realize that people won't take anything you say literally and would like understand whether I mean what I say or not....Well, this is why i miss my gathering.. Yeah, AayDee my brother I didn't realize that I would be missing you and Saleem bhai... Yeah, I really do....I know it must be real hard for you guys to cope up with me, cuz, I am quite a talking kind of a guy who just want to be talking the whole night with the friends and remember how things used to be in the University days. Salman Jafri's lose belt, Tauseef Bhai's long pause, Raza Jafri's red face, Jazz's lectures on public sector in the Measurements and Instrumentations course, and etc......

Well, I guess only one of three things can happen now in Sweden if I need to survive for one and a half years now.

1) I find one Disco Soofii like me and AayDee. ( which is a very rare situation)
2) I find some girl who just want to talk not the other way around ( You know what I am talking about....)
3) I marry soon (Even if I need to marry in Sweden. Which in its self is impossible, cuz, most Muslim girls over here are under the influence of the westernization)

Hey, before Ammar call me tharkii ( One always thinking about girls) let me explain to you guys that I just want someone with whome I can share with ( Well, I know many married people won't agree with me but hey, don't tell me not to do it just because it didn't worked out with you) and well yeah, the other feature is always additional for both of us. :)
Ain't it fascinating, although I don't know her yet but still missing her....

Yeah yeah, don't say anything I know I am again off the track.... but what shall I say my friends this is the way I am. As you have got along with me through out the university I hope you will get along with me in the future as well.....

Hmm...., it is 3:00 AM now and still I don't feel like sleeping.... But what the hell.. I know the trick to sleep ( Well, I know what you all dumbs thinking. NO, I won't be taking pills. I'll take something more stronger than that) Well, I think I should read my notes. :)
To tell you what... I am already feeling sleepy.....
Hope to have good dreams......

Another Messed up blog from a messy blogger

It is pretty hard to find love in the environment where there is sex everywhere. Some find it and some pretend that they have found it. Eventhough some find it but they are not sure whether they are in love or not. Well, it is a long brief talk once people start talking about love and sex.

So, I won't comment much on it but would like to say that these are human needs and for every human need there is a pattern defined to fulfill it. All we need to follow is the pattern.

Well, although I am not sure what I want to write but I guess you are understanding what I am trying to say. May Allah have mercy on me and I find someone before I fall into any sin.

I know it is pretty open but guys we all feel shy on all the right things.

A mixed Pathetic blog.....

Hmm....,
Well, I am here again. The weather is cold and didn't see the sun the whole day. People are always busy around here. As they say things happen in Sweden by the minute. Well, Imm bhai don't you worry I haven't find any bachii wachii over here. Aray bhai there is no attraction over here. Most of the time a person likes not all things to be perfect. Well, over here everything seems perfect just as in the books. Would see people kissing, laughing dancing but no real peace in the life. People are running running and running. Some don't even know why they are running.

Well, not everything around here is bad my brothers. People are real cooperative eventhough many don't speak english but they will help you alot. No matter where you go..

pretty casual environment in the class rooms, the teacher likes to be called by his name. No sir, No professor just name.

Well, as i told you earlier things happen in Sweden by the minute. So, here I go to do something for me.....

So bye bye from my side.

Abdur-Rehman my nephew

Missing my nephew too much these days.
I wish I can be there in Karachi.
Sometimes you can not control, be patience Imran InshAllah things will fine.

Char-payee ka sawal

One fine day Ammar bhai called me and told me that, "I'm here in ISB". Obviously we arranged a meeting. I decided that first of all we must do something for his accomodation.
I knew about a hostel near his office we went there and and met the owner.
Now buddies, Ammar bhai's only demand was a good washroom and a bed but owner was ready to give only one i-e washroom not a bed (thanks God its not viceverca or Ammar bhai will have to go to some khet ;-))
Ammar bhai literaly 'pairi-pe-gaye' and finally deal was over with a charpai(for only few days). Ammar bhai was more than happy after getting the Charpai.
According to recent information Ammar bhai got ha notice to leave the charpai of owner.
Through this blog I request u people to arrange some bedding for Ammar bhai so that he may not sleep on the floor.
Regards
Imran

Day Dreaming......

For few days I was having the feeling that I have lost my touch. Well, I know you people reading my blog won't be able to appreciate the amount of effort I place in writting a blog. Khair, ;) I know all of you have started smilling. So, stop smilling and winking my man.

Toba Toba, bhai loog sit straight for a few moments I am trying to say something my man. Khair, as all of you know I am packing now-a-days. So, after packing while I was sick and tired of doing the work I thought lets imagine what would it be like to stay over there for such a long period. Well, I started imagining and found myself in a corridore shared with 17 more people, khair, everybody seemed Padhakoo kind. Well, during week days found my self studying and sleeping only while on week ends while I thought lets have some fun all those Padhakoo people started complaining. Yeah, I know this was terrible. Khair, while I was lost in the thoughts I heard somebody calling my name downstairs well, as I concentrated, It was my Mom saying, "Chandaa, Piyaaz laal karnaan seekh looo"

Khair, so now I am going cuz, got to do so much work. So, it is to be continued... for the dreaming section.

Missing All already..................

Hmm...., now-a-days I am getting so much lazy and careless that I don't even remember what date is it today. Khair, I am sure blogger would put the date automatically. As we are talking about the date I realized that the date of my departure is comming close. Well, I haven't started to feel anything unsual but people are telling me that you will start missing many things from your country. One of my batch fellow told me that first thing you would be missing is the nice cooked meal from the house. Well, being more experienced in living abroad yeah, been living for a year and a half now, I would believe the comments. Secondly, the thing or person I would be missing more is my Amma. And I am pretty sure about it. Although, I won't be getting scolded by her for my messy room, books everywhere, not putting plates on sink after eating, not taking a pillow while sleeping, placing my clothes at its place after changing and most of all not placing the bathroom slippers at the standing positions. :)

But I am sure I would be missing the love, care, bossyness, my same old Amma. Well, yeah I would be missing my Abba ji as well. But that would be the instant while I am in some deep shit or need to decide what to do next. Cuz, usually when I am all messed up I turn over to my Abba ji and he makes all difficulties pass by in just a flick.

Yeah, I know would be missing my all Sis as well. Well, you can imagine I am their only brother and am being treated as a chota bachaa (Although I am elder). I am the Shehzadaa at home yaar. I get my dress pressed, shoes polished, food already placed while I am taking shower.

Hmm..., whose left yeah. Mostly, I would be missing my elders.... yeah, my Nani, Dadi, Dada and in the end Par-Dadi. I would definitely follow thier instructions. I know at this point you all would like to know what are the instructions.......
Haaa haaaa, you all would laugh. Khair, if you all would really wanna know the pre-reqs are you should know to understand Punjabi...

It goes like that >> " Gal Sun Way, Uthay Jaaiieen Teh Useeh Shehar Wich Hiii Rahieen Kissay Aur Galay Naan Jaaeeen. Oooo Uthay Malak Ban Jaan Day Nain. Apnain Kam Nal Kam Rakheen. Kissaay Maaiiim Day Galay Naan Lag Jaa Ween OOOh Qabzaa Kar Lain Dian Nain Phir Banday Noon Wapas Nahien Aawadn Daayndiayaan Hain."

Well, no matter how many times I go to my Grand Parents the story some what goes like this. :(

I know what Imm would be thinking, yeah, looks like even my Grand Parents know how deperate I am to get married as well.......
Haaa haaaa.

In the last I would be missing all the little girls in Karachi, yeah, I know they might think that I haven't kept upto the promise. Well, don't you worry girls you would get what I promissed. Haaa Haaa, what if I wouldn't be here present my parents are here. Yeah, you people are right I am talking about my little cousins. Yeah, those are the one which come to my own room and ask me to leave the room at once. You can understand what I had been gone through. Khair, I promissed to give Eiidii this comming EId.

This reminded me that I won't be here for next four Eids......
Ufff......, So much of the story tellling. Now I am feeling drowsy again. Yeah, I know this is not the time to sleep but it doesn't hurt to take a small nap while you have nothing to do.

So, here I go again. Khaaaaa um um Phooooooo Khaaaaa Phooooooo Khaaaaa Phooooooo

Intizaar Reporting behind the scene.....

"wOaaahh" MMmmmmm, Hmmm, Okz.. Nice blog AaayDee but missed some garam garam khabrain. Khair, I know you couldn't have leaked them out as you are liable under terms and conditions. Khair, I am not,so, things went like this in my opinion.Well, I arrived at AaayDee's place at 10:00 found a Dhansoo Mulla and JZ outside the door waiting to recieve me. As I went upstairs with you know whome I found Ammar ( the pankha of Aaamir Khan) on one side of border, Fadoo on the otherside and you know where would Shanii be. Yeah, you people guessed right he was in the middle of both acting as a mediator.Khair, phir Maa-arkaah shuruu howaa. Khoob Ghumsaan kii chalii and then in the end Fadoo bhai changed his post as PM (Project Manager) to SP (Senior Programmer). Khair, then Urooj bhai and Farooq bhai arrived and we had a bit more fun. Well, the things were going fine then XXX's ( You would have to guess who is XXX) mobile rang and he put hand on his mouth and started talking(To be coninued). Then the a discussion started on where to go and at the same instant Fadoo bhai realized he need to go home, well, it seemed like he had some important chore to do at home. While the discussion was on its heights suddenly AaayDee came up with Salaateen stating that he has seen its Advertisement in the Dawn newspaper. while the venue was decided Ammar (the cheetah) started missing Jamaatii ( you know who). He said, "I would again like to burn his nose hairs again before my departure". Khair, Ammar we all are afraid of powerful weapon of yours. Khair, any one who has seen Lion King 1 1/2 would know the powerful weapon of Pumbaaa...
Well, at last we reached Slaaateen. no doubt the place was quite but I guess it was too quite at that time of the night keeping in mind that we were at Sea view. Well, I wouldn't like to go into much of the typicals of the lunch cuz, you would be hearing only the crunching noises. One important fact we got to know is why AaayDee get soo dressed up while going to office and why his server doesn't respond while we ping it... Cuz, he is busy giving responses to some other requests ....
Khair, during dinner 3 times Mr. XXX's mobile rang. we then had a little walk to the sea view and had green tea (Well, AaayDee can tell the taste cuz, I din't touched it). Haan one important thing JZ bhai got lost I don't know while comming with us he started following whome. Khair, can't say much about it, cuz, Jawaan bachaa hay... Abb kiyaa howaa keh PIA main hay. Hay tou bachaa hiii merii tarah... ;)
In the end we went back to AaayDee's place and while we were thinking that fun is over. XXX's mobile rang again... I gave a conselling session to Ammar and told him that rest you can learn from Immm. As you would be much closer to him.
After Fajar Namaaz. I departed while asking everybody to forgive me if I have been a bad bad boy and hurt anybody's feelings. So, I ask you guys kept on reading my blogs to remember me in your prayers cuz, I would be needing alot of prayers from you all. Well, on 12th of August I'll be flying to Sweden lets hope that everything goes fine. Insha-ALlah.
Hey AaayDee, by the way where is the package you promissed me...
So, see you all......

PTCL :'(

Salam friends!
After getting kicked from older house I started living in a new sector i-e G9/4, Those who know ISB knows that there is a market named "Karachi company" in this sector. So I feel home in this sector :)
Lot of work has to be done, including shifting of my PTCL number to this new house.
Aaj apni tamam-tar himmat mujtama ker ke mian PTCL exchange ja pauhuncha. Enterance se pata chala ke mujhe branch exchange jana hai.
Main ne "sahb" ko apni arz sunayee. In repoly to which unhon ne mujhe aik lambaaaaaaa procedure bataya k jis k teht I have to submit an application for transfering the phone. Application likhnay se tau meri jaan bachpan se he nikalti hai. Socha k phone connection band ker wa ker koi GOCDMA type ki cheez lagwa li jaye, is tarah PTCL k lambay chakron se bhi nijat mil jaye gi.
Laikin tehqeeq per pata yeh chala k phone connection shutdown kerwana is even lenghtier procedure.
The following steps are include:
1- Write an application
(above step is equal to 50 steps for me so that next is numbered 51)
51- After some days u'll receive your hisab kitab.
52- This hisab kitab will be signed from PTCL main building (zero point)
53- They will give u a reciept.
54- Give this reciept to us.
55- We will then shut down your telephone connection.
I know the question will raise in your mind why am I going to shut it down. The answer is cuz my older malik makan is receiving my bills which includes Rs. 235 of line rent :'(
God save me from PTCL

My Heart Is Missing You...
_________________________________________

When you are gone
I feel so alone
I miss you dear
when you are not here
You make my day
Like when the sun shines in May
I need to see your smile
and I wish I could see it more then just once in a while
You are such delight
and add joy to my nights
I want you to know what you mean to me
and oh.. I hope that you can see
My heart is missing you
and I wonder... do you miss me to?
I hope that you do
because I know I miss you!!
I always hope you are ok, and nothing is wrong
When will I see you again.. oh I hope it won't be long!
I need to know that you care
and that no matter what you will always be there
Remember this is for you, my friend
and to you I will send
So keep it close to you heart
and if you do, we will never part.

Little Things Mean A Lot

Blow me a kiss from across the room,
Say I look nice when I'm not,
Touch my hair as you pass my chair;
Little things mean a lot.

Kneel with me at the side of the bed
Call me at six on the dot
A line a day when you're far away
little things mean a lot

Don't have to buy me diamonds & pearls
Caviar, sables or such
I never cared much for diamonds & pearls
'Cause honestly, honey, they cost too much.
Give me your hand when I've lost my way
Give me your shoulder to cry on,
Whether the day is bright or is gray
Give me your heart to rely on!

Give me the warmth of a secret smile
To show me you haven't forgot
That always and ever, now and forever
Little things mean a lot

Why I date younger women

Well, I was checking my email on hotmail and there was one link stating the title. I read that article and man O man, I laughed out loud. We say we are Tharkii These people are way beyond that. They have even forgotten the basic laws of nature.....

They have gone so deep into this Mother Nature term that I don't know how would they would help out their society. Khair, we are not helping out our society as well. It is just because they are hitting us with new forms of modernization and I am very sorry to say that we are eagerly helping them out....

Khair, here goes the article.

Ever feel like all the men your age are dating women half your age? OK. Maybe not half your age. But you get the idea. What makes men drawn to younger women? Is it just about looks and our youth-centric culture? Well, that’s part of it. But you might be surprised that the real reasons go way beyond the physical. Men, it turns out, are a bit more complicated than that!

It’s about math…
“When you reach your late 30s, it's not so much that dating a younger woman becomes more attractive, it's just harder not to. The law of averages means that proportionately fewer women your age are single. But dating a woman in her 20s when you’re approaching 40 is also less demanding; you’re not faced with the same requirements to make a decision about your future. When your new girlfriend is 36, she expects you’re thinking about the next few years, not just the next few dates.”
—Colin, 38, Chicago, IL

Have it my way
"I'd say the allure is that younger women are less judgmental and less set in their ways. They don't (yet) have a laundry list of what they want in a partner, in a career, in a life. Younger women are more user-friendly, I suppose. I think that kind of attitude appeals to thirtysomething guys who want a relationship to really be on our terms."
—Larry, 35, Edison, NJ

The fun patrol
“Honestly, younger women are sometimes more open to goofy good times than a women who has a few years on her. You can invite them to Kung Fu Hustle without getting a skeptical look.”
—Mitchell, 39, Baltimore, MD

Check all baggage, please
“The appealing thing about younger women is their outlook on life. They tend to be untainted by experiences that have hardened older women. Like when a woman’s been lied to a lot after years of dating, she always thinks you’re lying to her. And that’s a turnoff. Younger women are less cynical and that’s a big draw.”
—Alan*, 46 New York

Marriage-minded…not!
“What makes a younger woman a good catch? She's not itching to have a ring on her finger. She's interested in the here and now, in going out, in having fun. It may sound like a cliché, but it’s reality. I'm not anti-marriage, I'm just anti-agenda. A younger woman seems more willing to let things take their natural course.”
—Roger, 35, New York, NY

The age-defying principle
"When a guy reaches a certain age, he worries he sees his youth and vitality wane. A younger woman reaffirms for me that I’ve still got it going on."
—Mike, 40, Orlando, FL

Let me lead…
“One advantage of dating a younger woman is that you can play ‘cruise director’—show her all your secret favorite places that she probably hasn’t experienced yet. They’re easier to impress and very willing to be escorted around. Women like it when you have a plan and it’s well-executed.”
—Bill, 33, New York, NY

Are you Senior or Junior?

So what you think about yourself ? Are you senior or junior in your professional field of experience? – hum, this is the question which I just asked to myself as well and speaking truthfully I ain’t able to answer it appropriately because I found a wide range of variation in it globally, damn its varies a lot from country to country.

Specifically lets talk about the big track of IT and more specifically about its most gleaming part i.e. software development. You may find a wide range of Developer claiming to be as senior ,mediocre or junior but the main thing what the market around those people appraise them.

Well, for this I searched some American, Indian and Pakistani job portal and some mailing lists as well & come up with some interesting results. In US the market of software development rated you senior only if you have minimum 7 to 8 year of development experience & mediocre if you lies between the range of 3 to 6 years of experience and those guys who have 1 to 2 years of experience are rated as college developer.
Not surprisingly at all, but I found the same market ranking in India’s software development market as well, but the employer are very much touchy while hiring college developers because they never stuck at one place and switch jobs almost 6 to 7 times in one fiscal year. No doubt there’s a loads and loads of work at India’s software development market and that’s the reason why huge hiring is always going on there - Specially for the college developers [I hope the same will happen soon for Pakistani college developers as well –inshAllah ]. Just Imagine according to some reports there are 100 to 200 college developers works [that mean hired] for one big project in India.

Finally, now come to Pakistani software development market you may find a big fluctuation here, sometimes you see an ad in news paper that the employer is asking for senior developer with at least 2 year of experience and some times they need at least with 4 years. But Its very rare that you find any call for 7 to 8 year experienced developer. Eventually what I vaguely conclude is that the developer of 1 year of experience in Pakistan ranked as junior or college developer & mediocre if 2 years of experience and the seniority start from 3 to 4 years of work experience.
Hum.I have more to talk on it but inshAllah in next post.

Hot chips chilled with liquid metal

Piping hot processors could be cooled more efficiently and quietly using liquid metal instead of using fans to blow away the heat, says a Texan company which has developed such a system.
The central processing chips inside most desktop and server computers are cooled using heat-absorbing solid metal "sinks" and mechanical fans that generate continual air flow. But modern circuits can be so vastly complex that keeping them chilled is becoming increasingly noisy and power draining.

Maflooj Taleeeeem

Here is one article I read some where and I am trying to write it once again.... Hope fully you people will like it....

Maflooj Taleem means, Taleem in which Boys and girls study together and they leave each other after getting Maflooj. When they take the admission in Colleges they are boys and girls and when they leave the colleges they become Uncle and Antiyaan.

Few years back we could hardly find such institutions which are responsible for getting people Maflooj But now-a-days we can easily find institutions which are more than happy to get people Maflooj.

But why do we need Maflooj Taleem? If we look into few years back we would find people who were keen to get knowledge but now-a-days who has the time to waste it in education.

People tried everything to attract others towards education but when everything was of no use they thought that Why don't they do something which can attract more and more peoples towards education. So, at last they come up with a new Karobaaar in which boys and girls woudl be educated at a single place. The ratio of boys and girls increased to 60 to 70 percent.

Akhir, whats in the Maflooj Taleem which is not in the others? Well, the fact is in Maflooj Taleem younger generation doesn't have to go here and there. Few years back girls feel shy while looking at boys. Some even were afraid keh Kahien koi awaaz naan lagaa day. But today just because of this education system girls have got the courage, rather Hayaa is gone to that level that now boys are afraid of girls. Self confidence and competition were the base of this education system and if we look into it we can proudly say that in every matter competition is on the peak. Agar nahien hay tou sirf Taleem main.

Confidence is upto the extreme but on taunting on others. These are the few benefits that we have gained from Maflooj Taleem.

In addition this system teaches us the facts of real life as well. All the stuff that we are supposed to do in future, more appropriately in the far far future, just because of this system we can do it in our own institution.

If we see what benefits Mother and Father are getting from it then we can easily identify it. When boys and girls pass out from the college they decide their relationships themselves and Parents can feel relaxed after getting rid of it.

well said

Netscape launches browser upgrade

America Online has unveiled its first update of the Netscape Web browser program in five years.
It includes Microsoft's Internet browser engine and switches between the Firefox and Internet Explorer systems, depending on whether the Web user enters an address recognized as a so-called trusted site.
David Card, a Jupiter Research analyst who tried test versions of Netscape 8.0 during the development, said it's a "good product." AOL also plans to boost sales by unveiling a revamped version of its AOL.com Web site by the end of June.
The Netscape upgrade is the first since AOL in 2003 fired most of its Netscape browser development employees.
Some, including Ross, went on to create Firefox, which is distributed by the Mozilla foundation.

Spiritual Diseases: The Rule of Thumb

    In spiritual diseases (muhlekat-e-nafs) the rule of thumb is;

If one considers him/herself to be free from a specific disease, e.g. arrogance (kibr), hasad (envy) etc. it is for sure that he/she is afflicted with it.

That might be the reason that many of the noble companions ridhwanullah ta’ala ajmaeen considered themselves to be hypocrite (munafiq) and most of the pious (awliya) consider themselves to be worse than unbelievers (kafir-e-farang).

    Go 'mobile' using satellite navigation

The Netherlands-based company TomTom has developed a pocket-sized satellite navigation device that uses spoken instructions to direct pedestrians from their mobile phone.

The TomTom Mobile 5 personal navigation system that follows the success of in-car satellite navigation systems has started selling in Britain, reports the Scottish daily Scotsman.

The new system also displays a 3-D map on the phone screen to guide pedestrians and cyclists.

It works by inserting a memory card with pre-installed maps and software into a mobile phone. A separate Bluetooth wireless Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver device then connects to the phone.

Like an in-car "sat-nav", it works by picking up the user's position via satellite and then directing him to the required destination using the mapping software.

Available as a mobile phone package costing around 200 pounds sterling, the TomTom device will find the quickest and most direct route possible, giving an estimated time of arrival.

Manufacturers say it will be accurate to within 50 cm and will even be able to tell which side of the road the user is calling from.
They also claim the new device will be able to find given destinations from a postcode alone. If connected to the Internet, it will even be able to provide a weather forecast for whichever area the pedestrian is going to.

Harold Goddijn, TomTom's chief executive, described the new device as a huge step forward in personal navigation. "For the first time, satellite navigation has been extended outside the car and into the hands of anyone who needs to find their way from A to B, whichever mode of transport they choose."

The TomTom Mobile 5 is compatible with a range of mobile phones, including models by Nokia, Orange, Motorola, T-Mobile and iMate.

America Online to unveil free e-mail service

America Online will begin offering a free e-mail service on Wednesday tied to its popular instant messaging service, ahead of a big relaunch of its free AOL.com Web site later this year.
AOL's free Web-based e-mail service is nearly a decade behind Microsoft's Hotmail service and several years behind a Yahoo E-mail offering.
But the online division of Time Warner Inc. is betting that the combination of e-mail with its ubiquitous instant messaging software (AIM) will create a more powerful service combining all electronic and phone messages.
AOL will integrate its recently launched digital phone service this fall, when the AIM software will be rewritten, allowing users to retrieve voice mail, e-mail and instant messages from any computer.

Car virus rumors taken out for a spin

After putting a Prius to the test, a team of antivirus experts has concluded that cell phone viruses are unable to infect cars.
F-Secure said rumors that mobile phone viruses could spread to cars via Bluetooth were erroneous, after technicians at the security firm failed to infect the onboard computer of a Toyota Prius with Cabir, which spreads by Bluetooth and infects handsets based on the Symbian operating system.

Yahoo undercuts rivals with new music service

Yahoo Inc. on Wednesday plans to launch a trial version of Yahoo Music Unlimited, a new, aggressively-priced online music subscription service.
For an introductory price of US$59.88 a year, or $6.99 when paid monthly, the service will give users access to over 1 million songs from all major record labels and most independent labels, Yahoo said in a statement.
With its pricing, Yahoo is undercutting rivals RealNetworks Inc. and Napster Inc., which both charge about $15 a month for comparable services. Apple's iTunes, the biggest online music store, doesn't offer subscriptions but charges users per song or album download.

    Slow Dance!~

    Have you ever watched kids
    on a merry-go-round
    Or listened to the rain
    slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

    You better slow down
    Don't dance so fast
    Time is short
    The music won't last

Do you run through each day on the fly
When you ask "How are you?"
    do you hear the reply?

    When the day is done,
do you lie in your bed
    With the next hundred chores
    running through your head?

    You'd better slow down
    Don't dance so fast
    Time is short
    The music won't last

    Ever told your child,
    We'll do it tomorrow
And in your haste, not see his sorrow?

    Ever lost touch,
    Let a good friendship die
    'Cause you never had time
    to call and say "Hi"?

    You'd better slow down
    Don't dance so fast
    Time is short
    The music won't last

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....

    Thrown away...

    Do take it slower
    Hear the music
    Before the song is over.

    Kiss soch main doobi zindagii????????????

Many of the times a person is never honest while answering this question. Cuz, the moment he/she wakes up different problems and situations start to happen. And we never have time to really think that what is thing which is really fuelling us to put in such an amount of effort.

Well, seriously I thought about it but wasn't able to answer properly. Cuz, more I thought the more the list of wants and don't wants increased. So, what I realized is that one can only answer for the present condition and once the future arrives the situation and scenarios change.

You find out this is your destiny and once you pass by that spot you realize that you have just passed one level to be in search of the actual destiny.

Are you getting what I am saying.

Ofcourse, I don't blame you people If you don't understand the genius talking.

Khair, stay tune cuz, I'll be back with my another ambigious blog.

Man, don't take anything seriously cuz, I am writting anything coming into my mind.

Well, I pretending to be a logical person gave him lots of options but he continously rejected them and when in the end I said that I quit now you tell me.
He said, the one who knows he is dangerous. Well, to tell you the truth I didn't got what he was trying to say. So, without having any clue I asked. Are you afraid of me????

He laughed and said you would have to born twice to become a terror. I am sure that my fellows over here won't agree with him as I don't for them :).

Khair, leave this dangerous person topic. I am sure you people would be thinking what I am trying to say. Well, guys don't think to hard, cuz, I am dozing right now and writting what ever is comming in my mind. Well, before I write something that AayDee being a moderator has to cut down. Puraanii Kahani Na aiy (Phata Puranay) Cover Keh Saath....

Hmmm...., Blup Blup... Man what's this am I on Mars or what... Everybody is talking about chips, IBM, Technology.... Yaaar, looks like I would have to do something to proof that I know something as well.

Hmm...., But what to do???? Khair, lets start from The great gizmo TECHNOLOGY...

Khair, I do remember saying of one of our AI teacher( who had some real research work in the field of Random Behavior of Angry Child, Well.., you must be thinking what is that..., Aray we realized this thing afterwards cuz, he always used to talk about his Son who always used to get angry and slam the door but even then used to help him out with AI slides) that how come IT prevail in PAK where there many of the times are black outs. Khair, I couldn't resist quoting one of great research oriented teacher.

    Hmmm..., according to www.dictionary.com,
    TECH = technician or technical
    NO = NO
    and,
    LOGY = Slugish or heavy

Well, since, left hand side is equal to right hand, hence according to our theorem it is proved that Technician is not Slugish.

Well, I leave my this research work to others scholars naming Dr. Immm bhai(Homeopathetic) and Dr. Adnan bhai(Adab wo BayAdab) to review and check my work.

Hmm..., looks like it is alot of TECH NI KAL talk for now.

So, lets take a break and have a KIT KAT.

We are free of misery at least (Great story)

    Assalaam-O-Alaikum,

For a long time I was under the impression that we are not free at all. For whatever reasons I was convinced to this point. But for the last week I was reading a story on the Ummat's web site written by Aleem-ul-Haq-Haqi. Well, I don't know why But while I started reading that I fell in love with this man. Aleem bhai, My brother I really salute you and pray for you as you are not feeling well now-a-days. You helped me realize so many things.

Khair, I realize the way one should be searching for Allah. The fact of Muhabbat. and most of all I realized, after how many efforts Allah Has given us this country to be free to pray Allah.

We are free in terms keh, while we sleep we don't have fear that somebody will break into our house and start robbing and killing us. We are free from the fear that once we are out of our house, our sisters and mother (i.e. ladies are safe). We are free from the fact that we can show freely that we are muslims.

I went back to home and asked my Nanii who performed the Hijrat herself while the Pakistan came into being. The facts she told me confirmed Aleem bhai's story, well, atleast the part where he discussed the movement for Pakistan. I realized that how one can live after dying. We are not here for tafreeh and hallah gullah. We have certian responsibilities and that is to give protection to those who can not protect themselves.

Well, I don't know about you people but I literally cried for help from Allah on my way back to home and wasn't able to sleep very well through the night. I was seeing myself in the condition as the Aleem bhai has stated when Balwaii attacked on the house.

And wasn't sure what to do, so, I prayed to Allah and realized that only Allah can protect anybody not me nor anybody. But still there are so many feelings of mine which I need to understand.

Honestly, people I am not joking. May be you people think that I am getting weak by crying out for help, but the more I gave it a thought, the more helpless I felt and asked Allah for help. Khair.

Don't want to ruin you people's good mode.

    So, take-care.

Is talking to your girl after engagement allowed. ( it is difficult but May Allah Help us.)

At the outset, we wish to point out that the western concept of engagement has no basis in Islam. That is the way of the Kuffaar. Rasulullah [Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam] said, ‘Whosoever imitates a nation is from among them.’

At most, an engagement is only a promise to marry. It should not be a celebration of a mini marriage as is the norm. Once a boy and girl is proposed to marry, they are still Ghayr Mahram unto one another. Ghayr Mahrams are those people that are not prohibited unto one another in marriage. It is compulsory to maintain the laws of Hijaab for Ghayr Mahrams. It is, therefore, prohibited for you to communicate with your future to be. The reason of getting to know one another has no basis. If there was any merit in that, then such marriages ought to be always successful and prosperous as the decision to marry has been on sound basis.

It is a normal practise in the western world to court before marriage, yet the divorce rate among them is extremely high. In the US, the divorce rate is 4 out of 5. The Darul Ifta has observed and handled many such marital disputes wherein the couples knew one another before marriage for a long time. The relationship suddenly sours after the marriage. In many cases, the spouses have stated that the attitude before marriage was different and changed only after marriage. Surely that synthetic positive approach was just to achieve one’s motive. It is also important to examine this issue from another angle. Everything has its full strength and limits. In such a premarital relationship, couples exhaust much of their natural resources of love and do not have much left when the actual time comes to express that. After marriage, love is an old boring affair and there is not much hope for building a loving marriage. Alhamdulillah, in Islam, individuals have the full resources of love and express it at the appropriate time, thus building a solid foundation of love. The concept of keeping contact with each other before marriage to know one another is incorrect and un-Islamic. There are many couples that have been dumped and abused by the ‘faithful’ partners.

Why Should I Wear The Hijaab ?
    ---------------------------
This is a good question and there is a beautiful answer! Allaah has commanded us with every action that is good for us and prohibited us from performing every action that is bad for us. Allaah orders the Muslim woman to wear the hijaab when she steps out of the security of her home or when in the presence of strange men. So to wear the hijaab is a source of great good for you - the Muslim woman - for many reasons. Among them:

    1. You please Allaah. You are obeying the commands of your Lord when you wear the hijaab and you can expect great rewards in return.

    2. It is Allaah's protection of your natural beauty. You are too precious to be "on display" for each man to see.

    3. It is Allaah's preservation of your chastity.

    4. Allaah purifies your heart and mind through the hijaab.

    5. Allaah beautifies your inner and outer countenance with hijaab. Outwardly your hijaab reflects innocence, purity, modesty, shyness, serenity, contentment and obedience to your Lord. Inwardly you cultivate the same.

    6. Allaah defines your femininity through the hijaab. You are a woman who respects her womanhood. Allaah wants you to be respected by others, and for you to respect yourself.

    7. Allaah raises your dignity through the hijaab. When a strange man looks at you, he respects you because he sees that you respect yourself.

    8. Allaah protects your honour 100% through your hijaab. Men do not gaze at you in a sensual way, they do not approach you in a sensual way, and neither do they speak to you in a sensual way. Rather, a man holds you in high esteem and that is just by one glance at you!

    9. Allaah gives you nobility through the hijaab. You are noble not degraded because you covered not naked.

    10. Allaah demonstrates your equality as a Muslim woman through the hijaab. Your Lord bestows upon you equal worth as your male counterpart, and gives you a host of beautiful rights and liberties. You express your acceptance of these unique rights by putting on the hijaab.

    11. Allaah defines your role as a Muslim woman through the hijaab. You are a someone with important duties. You are a reflection of a woman of action not idle pursuits. You display your sense of direction and purpose through your hijaab. You are someone that people take seriously.

    12. Allaah expresses your independence through the hijaab. You are stating clearly that you are an obedient servant of the Greatest Master. You will obey no one else and follow no other way. You are not a slave to any man, nor a slave to any nation. You are free and independent from all man-made systems.

    13. Allaah gives you the freedom of movement and expression through the hijaab. You are able to move about and communicate without fear of harassment. Your hijaab gives you a unique confidence.

    14. Allaah wants others to treat you - a Muslim woman - with kindness. And the hijaab brings about the best treatment of men towards you.

    15. Allaah wants your beauty to be preserved and saved for just one man to enjoy - your husband.

    16. Allaah helps you to enjoy a successful marriage through wearing hijaab. Because you reserve your beauty for one man alone, your husband's love for you increases, he cherishes you more, he respects you more and he honours you more. So your hijaab contributes to a successful and lasting marriage relationship.

    17. Allaah brings about peace and stability in the society through the hijaab! Yes this is true! Men do not cause corruption by forming illegal relationships because you - the Muslim woman - calm their passions. When a man looks at you, he feels at ease, not tempted to fornicate.

So a Muslim woman in hijaab is dignified, not dishonoured, noble, not degraded, liberated, not subjugated, purified, not sullied, independent, not a slave, protected, not exposed, respected, not laughed at, confident, not insecure, obedient, not a sinner, a guarded pearl, not a prostitute.

Dear Muslim sister! Come towards the gates of Paradise with us! Fulfill your duties towards Allaah, put on your adornment - put on your hijaab, and race towards Jannah (Paradise) by doing all good actions. You should agree by now that wearing hijaab is extremely beneficial - it must be - because Allaah only commands what is good. and believe me dear sister, it is good to obey the commands of your Lord.

"Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow wherein they will dwell for ever; Allaah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him; this is (in store) for whoever fears his Lord." [Sooratul-Bayyinah 98:8]

    Good Times for Pakistan

"These are the good times for Pakistan," said the Cathay Pacific manager in Los Angeles, who is originally from Karachi. Decades of neglect are being compensated (and in some cases overcompensated) by the government of President Pervez Musharraf. Investment is pouring in from countries in the Persian Gulf, from India, and especially from China.

    Large Value Capacitors

I really amazed when I was working on the BOM(Bill of Materials) of our new product. I saw some suppliers(Digikey, Mouser) offering capacitors of value more than 1 Farad. Yes its more than 1 Farad. This large value is generally used as a battery for Real Time Clock chips etc.
Before that I thought Farad is very big value and one can not have a capacitor of 1 Farad. So if any one ask u that if there any capcitor possible of one Farad say YES !BTW u can take a look at
http://www.digi-key.com/ (U'll have to search for). Not expensive though about $2 and yes size is also very small like a coin battery on your mother boards.

And yeah PEC's site asking something with a tone of lion-roar; yes here it is:

"All Engineers registered with PEC as Professional Engineers are advised to use the word "Engineer" or "Engr" as a prefix to their names."

Besides ironies, this updated version of PEC's site is a bit better than prevoius one, but with IE.

An answer of question "What you think of Islam as most terrorists are muslims" on bbc

    Assalaam-O-Alaikum,
Guten Morgan ( Good Morning )

Well, did I mentioned I am learning German now-a-days. Well, I guess now I don't have to explain that why I am off the picture now-a-days.
I have answered so many times on BBC about there stupid questions but they never publish my answers. Khair, I thought why not to publish over here, so, here it is:

Well, Islam is a great religion. The problem is who is setting the standard for terrorism? Anybody who asks about his right to servive and if not acknolwdged tries to get that right is labeled as terrorist. Everybody is using this word to get hold of the resources of the world. By the way I am not amused by it as it is the part of signs of Qiyamat( Dooms day)

    Allah-Hafiz.
